HONEY TYPES WE SELL

Flower Honey

  • Flower honey is water clear or slightly greenish (black locust honey), yellowish to golden yellow (rape, sunflower and linden honey). Flower honey is easy to digest. It crystallizes very quickly regarding the high content of glucose (often just a few days after extracting). If the nectar originates in only one plant species, it has a characteristic taste and smell and the plant usually determines its name (linden, clover, rape..honey). This honey type is usually sweeter than honeydew honey.

Honeydew Honey

  • Honeydew honey is dark brown to reddish brown. It has a riper aroma and a sharper taste. We get honeydew honey mainly from the plant sap filtered by insects. It has a high content of minerals (potassium, magnesium, phosphorus) and ingredients with bactericidal effect. Honeydew honey contains less sugar compared to flower honey, yet more natural pigments and minerals. It usually tastes sharper and is slower to crystallize.

Honey paste

  • Is produced from flower honey through controlled crystallization. It has distinguished delicious taste, fine consistence and what´s most important remains in the form of a paste that does not flow down, can be better manipulated, does not trickle from the spoon etc. The taste is the same like with a liquid honey. The good thing is here there are no palpable crystals and so it is easily spread on bread e.g.
